Chef's Restaurant L'Agapé has always been a wonderful incubator for talent, with Laurent Lapaire boasting of having welcomed champions such as David Toutain, Bertrand Grébaut and Yohann Lemonnier to his handsome salon at 17ᵉ. Yoshi Nagato, recruited at the beginning of summer 2023 and having worked for Rostang and Frechon, is certainly an excellent technician, but the time is no longer ripe for the three toques that have long been Agapé's daily routine. The cuisine purrs a little, as if it had become gentrified, showing itself to be technically accomplished, but ultimately favoring luxury over emotion, caviar and truffles being regularly called upon. There are still some fine dishes, such as the supreme of free-range guinea fowl, celery ravioli and chestnut with Albuféra sauce, or the beautiful langoustine from Guilvinec, split open and covered with a yellow wine sabayon glaze. High prices, friendly service.
