A beautiful house and an ideal base for hiking in the area, or simply enjoying the pure forest air. Gérard Goetz has the spirit of an innkeeper, his team knows how to make you feel welcome and he offers a generous menu, with attention to detail, as a symbol of Alsace's gourmet spirit: snails, bouchée à la reine, pike-perch matelote with noodles, stuffed calf's head and pig's trotters for the traditionalists, prawn nems with chili sauce, vegetable lasagne or sea bream and scallops fricasseed with ravioli to experiment with other flavors. Well-composed menus, well-equipped Alsatian cellar, with the big names (Faller, Beyer, Trimbach, Muré) as well as Deiss, Zusslin and a few new discoveries.
