Chef's Restaurant A delightful Breton stopover in this typical, well-appointed house. Mathieu Le Ténier, after a successful tour of France's terroirs (Guillo and Le Fur at Grand Maison, Rochedy and Buron at Le Chabichou, Sinicropi at Le Martinez) has returned home to treat Paimpolais and tourists alike. He offers inspired, layered menus based on well-matched, quality products: scallop carpaccio with lemon caviar and yuzu cream, mallard fillet with mango and carrot mousseline in a pretty sequence at €57. Suppliers with a high local content (fishermen, market-gardeners), a fairly conservative cellar.
