Description

Specializing in seafood and fish, Timothée Gauvain opened his restaurant in 2022, just a stone's throw from the Bastille. In his beach hut-style restaurant, decorated with wood and ropes found in the Charente-Maritime region, he has created an exotic atmosphere, with large bay windows open as soon as the sun appears, like a seaside vacation... With the advice of his father, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, this restaurateur, born into the world of fish and seafood, carefully selects the quality and freshness of the dishes that he will then sublimate on your plates. All year round, oysters, shrimps, crab, langoustines and whelks are the kings of the menu, and every two or three weeks, seasonal suggestions are added to the menu, with oven-cooked, torch-cooked or raw products. The whelks cooked in a curry, paprika and garlic broth, and the salmon gravlax, have become the house signature dishes. Coqui is a little bit of the seaside in Paris!
