This brasserie in the Montorgueil district, with its period-style bistro room, tablecloth-covered tables, bottle-green banquettes and mirrored walls, is a curiosity for tourists visiting Paris. Classic cuisine is served, including such must-tries as crayfish tail gratin, boeuf bourguignon and chicken with morel mushrooms. There's also a €35 lunch menu with starter + main course, including white asparagus, Serrano ham and moist beef chuck with rosemary jus.
