Although the restaurant is a little out of the center of town, it nonetheless boasts a lovely terrace and a pleasant view of the Charente, ideal for enjoying market cuisine at a decent price. The chef correctly follows the seasons, showing off his butternut velouté, smoked duck breast julienne and foie gras nuggets, fish blanquette, veal pavé with pineau des Charentes sauce, or dark chocolate moelleux with vanilla ice cream.
