A Japanese institution, this is one of the best Parisian addresses on the register, and an unmissable reference for teppanyaki. Deliberately limited in size, only a select few are allowed to sit around the counter each evening to admire Koji Aida and his work, which is probably as close as one could get to the Tokyo experience. The €280 menu is obviously a privilege, but the uniqueness of the experience, the level of freshness of the produce, and the chef's untouchable technique may justify doing it at least once. Reservations essential.
