The Mondial du Rhum returns with a new edition in 2025

The Mondial du Rhum returns with a new edition in 2025

Mathieu Dubus | 6/19/24, 5:59 PM

The second Mondial du Rhum will be held in Paris next winter. A veritable agricultural heavyweight consumed worldwide, many of the sector's key players will be present. We tell you all about the date, the place and the must-sees!

The Mondial du Rhum, an event created by Patrick Loger, is back for a second edition. The aim? To bring people together around the "rum ecosystem", and this year to focus on the impact of mankind. Last year's event was divided into two parts. The first featured 35 internationally renowned speakers, and the second brought together 1,000 participants and professionals from 25 countries. Numerous events took place, including a jazz concert by Pierre Bertrand and the Caja Negra Big Band.

When does the Mondial du Rhum 2025 take place?

The years follow each other, at least from a calendar point of view. With the exception of a few days, the dates are identical: the 2025 edition will take place on February 12, 13 and 14. During these three days, the Palais Brongniart in Paris will be transformed into the world epicenter of rum. It's an opportunity to discover the world of rum, and answer questions such as: who are the producers and distributors? Or any other questions you may have about this spirit.

What's not to miss?

The program for this second edition is at least as packed as the first. The Mondial du Rhum plays a dual role as decision-making summit and trade show. But first of all, a grand gala dinner will be held, as last year. A concert is also planned for the three days of exhibitions. A film screening will take place, as it did last year, on the theme of "Guadeloupe, Land of Rum and Men". In addition, the curious will have the opportunity to enjoy a contemporary art exhibition and "hors les murs" programming in Paris.

There are still several months to go before the event, but you can already register on the therumsummit.com website if you'd like to be an exhibitor. Details of fees and visitor registration are not yet available.
