Coffee, mocha, very fine black fruit notes with hints of iris on the finish. Smoky mouthfeel, mocha, very velvety, finesse and perfect balance. Superb tannins. Freshness and purity. Singularly juicy and creamy for this estate. A benchmark wine for a clay terroir. - 16/18

Slight hint of reduction on the Semillon, very fine aromatic structure, taut Sauvignon palate with fleshy Semillon. Airy, crystalline, superb. - 17/18

Slightly smoky, the nose impresses with its purity, harmony and subtlety. Notes of white fruit, flowers and stone. Not dense on the palate, but elegantly juicy, crystalline, fine. Absolutely superb. The acidity brings freshness, straightness and an airy finish. A summit for the Sauvignon grape. - 18/20

Floral, a little iris, violet for a nose of obvious charm. Juicy, almost velvety, with a thick tannic structure, fresh and velvety. Superb juicy tannins. A must-have. -17/18,5

A deep nose, dominated by coffee and noble spices. Volume, a little creamy and mellow, roundness and absolutely magnificent tannins. A real discovery! After ageing, this wine could have a higher score... - 15/17,5+

Very pretty nose full of freshness, mentholated notes, black fruit. Juicy and velvety, with structuring tannins, still young of course, and a noticeable woodiness. - 15/16,5

A slightly herbaceous nose, elegant, iris, also a little reduced. Juicy, sapid, tasty, the palate is dense, elegant and suave. Massive and perfectly executed - 16/17

Violet, iris, lilac, a little coffee, mocha too. Juicy on the palate, very good mouthfeel, mellow, velvety. What freshness. Energy, toasty notes too. How can I spit this wine out? Break the PEL and buy a case. You'll never be disappointed, unlike the PEL. A deep, powerful Roc de Cambes. -17/19

Floral, fairly dynamic nose with notes of lilac, iris and blueberry. Juicy entry, then a tension that tightens the whole, giving it a magnificent airy sensibility. - 16/17,5

Château Petit Puch (du) - Graves de Vayres - 2016 - Red

Luscious nose, a touch of coffee, hints of black fruit. Round, mellow on the palate, structuring tannins with a fine barrel grain. A fine ensemble for a wine with medium to close cellaring potential - 15/16.5
