One overlooks the ocean, another is hidden in the heart of the Jura forests, yet another nestles in the garrigues just a stone's throw from Les Baux-de-Provence... The five hôtels that we have chosen for you all offer the magic of unspoilt nature, and are also the most sought-after retreats for golfers from all over the world.
On the moors, 70 hectares... And the ocean
This refuge overlooks the 70 hectares of the Seignosse golf course (ranked among Europe's top 50 courses), which stretches right down to the ocean, bordered by a forest of pines and cork oaks. Not a member and afraid you won't be able to get there? Don't worry, the hotel has established a partnership with the golf course that will enable you to obtain a priority green fee. This is just one of the many assets of this address, which also attracts surfers, with the possibility of reserving boards and lessons given by the best professionals. For the rest, the hotel infuses the contemporary, refined atmosphere that is the hallmark of the Domaines de Fontenille collection. The proof is in the 32 elegantly simple rooms and suites, chef Jérôme Merlo's table offering a cuisine between mountain and ocean, and the spa featuring a hammam, sauna, swimming pool and treatment cabins designed by LA Bruket. Last but not least, there's our favorite, the Estagnots hut, set on the sand, where you can enjoy tapas and cocktails while watching the sun set and plunge into the ocean.

And also, a responsible golf course... In Provence, Domaine de Manville
In the heart of the Alpilles, this hotel is housed in a former agricultural estate whose authenticity has been carefully preserved. The owners (the Saut family from nearby Maussane-les Alpilles) have created a "rural palace" that respects the land and local culture. The 30 rooms and suites, like the nine houses tucked away in the grounds, exude a serene, luxurious harmony. Led by chef Lieven Van Aken, the Brasserie and gourmet table l'Aupiho celebrate local produce and permaculture-grown fruits and vegetables from the garden. The spa invites you to recharge your batteries with a sauna, hammam and indoor pool, next to a fitness area offering sports equipment and classes throughout the day (yoga, pilates...). Finally, the 18-hole "square greens" golf course has been entirely designed to preserve the landscape and water resources.
