100% rosé for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

According to Wine Spectator, the world's most famous ex-couple are set to join forces again, this time to produce rosé champagne.

Already owners of the Miraval winery in Provence, actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will be teaming up with the Pierre Peters winery in Mesnil-sur-Oger to produce around 10,000 bottles of rosé champagne, with total production planned at around 25,000 bottles.

Rodolphe Peter confirmed this announcement, announcing that the resulting house would be the only one "to produce only rosé". He added: "The aim is to push quality as far as possible, drawing on the expertise of the Perrin family and Miraval in the production of rosé saignées, and that of Pierre Peters in the production of great Blanc de Blanc champagnes and blended rosés".

This "family" project for the couple (their children are involved in the business) was initiated by the Perrin family, who run Miraval, and the Peters family, two families who have been friends for many years.
