Gault&Millau's review 2025

This hotel in the Les Étincelles collection, due to open in late 2021, has chosen to set itself apart with a real architectural statement. The buildings were designed to echo the silhouette of the Grande Motte glacier in Tignes. A successful gamble, since the establishment has already won over a loyal community of guests who swear by the aesthetics and contemporary comfort of the place. The 69 rooms are decorated in a pure, natural style, with wood-grain carpeting, certified sustainable furniture and eco-responsible bathroom products, all extended by large balconies overlooking the slopes and the legendary glacier. On the dining front, the emphasis is on excellence, with Il Savoia, a bistronomic restaurant offering delicious Franco-Italian cuisine, and the Icebreaker bar, whose menu of Savoie wines and cocktails is sure to delight all connoisseurs. A spa designed as a holistic space, with a sauna, hammam, swimming pool and Gemology treatment rooms, completes the offer of this superb refuge.
