Set in the heart of a magnificent 200-hectare vineyard, the estate is a veritable treasure trove, the brainchild of Irish contemporary art collector and Francophile Patrick McKillen. An art center designed by Tadao Ando, an incredible winery signed by Jean Nouvel and a sumptuous park filled with works commissioned for the site, including major pieces by Louise Bourgeois, Sophie Calle, Jean-Michel Othoniel and Richard Serra. The estate is a delight for art lovers, who can put down their suitcases in one of the 28 vast suites and villas decorated in light wood, rough stone and extended by bay windows overlooking the surrounding nature. The food and beverage service is on a par with this exceptional site, with chef Hélène Darroze at the helm. The same goes for the blond oak spa designed by Hong Kong artist André Fu, with yoga and meditation classes combined with traditional treatments and massages. A rare experience to be enjoyed (at least) once in a lifetime!
