Gault&Millau's review 2025

A long-awaited address, already promising to become an elegant haven for Biarritz lovers. Clinging to the Atlantic, on the Côte des Basques, the future Talaia Hôtel & Spa - MGallery Collection is set to combine seaside art de vivre and contemporary refinement from summer 2025. Designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, this large vessel of 149 rooms (including 8 suites) boasts a sober, luminous style, with discreet Basque influences. At the top, a rooftop with heated pool and a restaurant by Éric Frechon, where you can enjoy seasonal cuisine while watching the sun plunge into the ocean. Below, the Cinq Mondes spa offers its rituals in a hushed atmosphere, while a surfroom designed for initiates offers direct access to the waves. Just a stone's throw from Les Halles and the Bibi Beaurivage district, Talaia looks set to become Biarritz's new epicenter of chic wellness.
