Gault&Millau's review 2025

If you're a fan of the fantastic and mysterious world of Nantes-based writer Jules Verne, this is the address for you. Housed in the Hôtel Durbé (a residence built in the 18th century by shipowners), 3 suite-apartments ("La Nuit", "Le Voyage Extraordinaire" and "De la Terre à la Lune") revisit the themes of astronomy and the ocean floor, with their rocket kitchen, spaceship shower, moon platform bed and cargo ship-style bedroom. New accommodations have recently been added (L'Île mystérieuse, Le Nautilus and Le D'Ô, housed in a former 1930s bateau-mouche). Kids love it, and parents too.
