Gault&Millau's review 2026

A Renaissance palace nestled in the maze of Saint-Jean, this legendary address begins a new chapter in its history under the Radisson Collection signature. Under the leadership of architect Cécile Rémond, the four historic houses - including the famous courtyard with its arcades and spiral staircase - have been restored to their former glory, enhanced by a décor that magnifies chiaroscuro and noble materials. The 61 rooms celebrate Lyon's art of living, with bespoke furnishings, deep velvets and restored frescoes. After a day wandering the traboules, escape to the Roman-inspired spa, whose waters shimmer beneath brick vaults, or join the romantic courtyard of Les Loges restaurant, led by chef Anthony Bonnet. A masterly renaissance.
