Gault&Millau's review 2025

Built in 1974 by architect Pierre Dufau and formerly operating under the Sheraton and then Le Méridien brands, the Pullman Montparnasse—standing 115 m tall with 32 floors—dominates the Parisian skyline in the Maine-Montparnasse neighborhood. From 2017 to 2021, the firm CUT Architectures (Benjamin Clarens and Yann Martin) reimagined the skyscraper’s layout to create a fluid space centered around circular ceilings, premium materials (terrazzo, wood, polished stainless steel), and a “cosmic” lobby featuring a monumental chandelier. The concentric design alternates between work and relaxation areas, enhanced by immersive digital art, including 40-meter-long murals and 3D sculptures. The 957 panoramic rooms, from the 8th to the 32nd floor, offer spectacular views of Paris—Sacré-Cœur, the Eiffel Tower, the Panthéon—bathed in soothing light. The Skybar on the 32nd floor serves cocktails and features a terrace open late into the evening. The hotel also features a vibrant food court (Umami Burger, Fi'lia, Grab & Go) and a Les Mills fitness center.
