One of the region's most bucolic addresses... Nestled in Autun, just a stone's throw from the Morvan National Park, this refuge was converted from a 17th-century watermill and now offers the charm of 5 large rooms and one suite, combining wood, stone and cement; local furniture and Danish design, all opening onto beautiful formal gardens. Depending on your mood, you can choose to dine in the large common room or on the terrace, where you can sample local specialities such as jambon persillé, époisses and vacherin, and, every Saturday, enjoy a delicious dinner based on local produce and accompanied by a short but remarkable selection of the region's great vintages. Last but not least, there's a lovely swimming pool where you can do your laps while admiring the surrounding wooded hills.
