Gault&Millau's review 2025

One of the oldest inns in the region, built in 1874 in a former mill surrounded by a 2-hectare property with hemp mill, pastures and gardens. Now transformed into a hotel, the place has retained all its assets, set on the waters of the Ill reach, in the shade of tall willow trees. Perfect for a bucolic retreat, it features 30 spacious, rustic rooms with exposed beams, plush carpets and sublime views over the gardens. A special mention goes to the large lounge where you can enjoy a drink in beautiful club armchairs, and the spa housed in the mill's old turbines, which have now been converted into a wellness area, with hammam and sauna open to nature.
