Gault&Millau's review2026
Moored at the entrance to the Golfe du Morbihan, this iconic establishment designed by architect Jacques Rougerie looks like nothing else: an immense glass liner set against the ocean, inaugurated in the 1990s and transformed in 2015, imposing its spectacular silhouette from the very first glance. The 113 rooms and suites, extended by terraces resembling ship's decks, all open onto the Atlantic - the mineral decor invites contemplation. The Le Safran restaurant, led by chef Xavier Jégoux, offers iodized cuisine overlooking the port of Crouesty, which naturally echoes the hotel's primary vocation as one of Europe's most renowned thalassotherapy centers. The highlight of the show is the sea trail, bathed in natural light, where you can recharge your batteries with a breathtaking view of the waves. It's almost a shame to come here for just one night; it's the kind of place that demands your time.
