Gault&Millau's review 2026
Outstanding Hotel
Located in the heart of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, just steps from the beach and two blocks from the main street, Marnie House opened in September 2026. The project was conceived by Jeremy Gosse, a native of the Somme Bay region who spent many vacations in Le Touquet.
Having settled in their beloved town, he and his wife purchased the Castel Victoria, a historic landmark in the seaside resort. Their goal: to offer a modern experience to travelers exploring the North. The hotel’s design was conceived by Atelier Deux-Cé, a Parisian firm behind projects for Sézane and Roellinger.
In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the 26 rooms have been tastefully furnished. Modern yet inspired by the style of traditional beach huts, these rooms welcome passing surfers, families, and couples alike. The sleek and cozy style appeals to a wide range of travelers who come to explore the coast while feeling right at home. The furniture and accessories, sourced from flea markets, create a vacation-home atmosphere. The rooftop and balconies overlooking the sea further enhance the magic of this setting.
