Gault&Millau's review 2026

Established within the walls of a 19thᵉ century mansion, a stone's throw from Angers' bustling thoroughfares, this four-star establishment cultivates the art of hospitality with a very contemporary requirement: privacy. Behind the historic facade are just 14 rooms and suites of refined design, where perfect soundproofing guarantees a serene night's sleep. Breakfast alone is worth the detour: instead of a buffet, it's served at the table in the traditional way, with homemade specialties such as banana bread. During the day, the coffee shop, open to guests and Angevins alike, distills a convivial atmosphere, with vintage coffees and sweet and savoury plates.
