A touch of the exotic just outside Quimper... This 18th-century manor house once belonged to sailor and adventurer René Madec, who set sail for the Indies in 1747. Extensively restored and transformed into a hotel by Olivier and Catherine Sergeant, it now houses 13 rooms. Named Siam, Macao or Vanikoro, they are largely inspired by the East Indies, in homage to the former owner. The table d'hôtes serves a hearty breakfast, and the wellness area - spa, sauna and swimming pool nestled in a sumptuous vaulted room - invites guests to extend their stay beyond reason. For events, the large "Les Comptoirs" hall (205 m²) can accommodate up to 350 people. A manor house that has kept the soul of its distant adventures.
