We already knew the perfume house. The three sisters who own the property and are heirs to the legendary Fragonard brand recently decided to add a guest house, just a stone's throw from the Arles amphitheatre. Imagined by studio Be-Pôles and architect Renzo Wieder, three rooms, three suites and three apartments infuse a refined Provencal spirit with beautiful terracotta floor tiles, marble fireplaces and walls decorated with Baroque mirrors, all furnished with vintage pieces from different eras and destinations, from Japan to Italy. A rooftop terrace completes the singular charm of the place; not to be missed at dinnertime to sample small platters of local specialties and sip a glass of wine while admiring the sunset setting the city's rooftops ablaze. For breakfast, guests of the Maison Fragonard are welcomed at the Hôtel Nord-Pinus, the nearby Arles institution.
