They ran a restaurant in Nantes, but had only one wish: to return to the Hautes-Alpes. When Sandrine and Xavier heard that this former gîte d'étape was for sale, they decided to take the plunge and set up shop on the mountainside in the old village of Les Orres. Reconverted into a guest house, the place now boasts 5 warm and refined rooms: Farrow & Ball paintings, linen fabrics, Scandinavian furniture... Anxious to welcome their guests as friends, the couple serve table d'hôtes four times a week and treat guests every day to a delicious breakfast of homemade cakes and bread, yoghurts, local and organic cheeses. Enjoy it while admiring the 180° panorama of the Orres mountains.
