At the top of a beautiful hill, these two Perche longhouses have been converted into luxurious guest houses by interior designer Vincent-Louis Voinchet. The gamble paid off, as this address is now the haunt of loyal guests who swear by the charm of the 12 rooms clad in waxed concrete, designer furniture and immaculate white bathrooms. The living room, conceived as a greenhouse, houses a sumptuous open fireplace, perfect for winter evenings, and the immense bay windows bring nature in during the summer. These green spaces are spread across the 2-hectare estate, which includes a small wood, a meadow and a heated swimming pool, while another pool welcomes guests to the spa with sauna and hammam. When you're refreshed, you can head to the restaurant, where the chef concocts a cuisine in keeping with the setting, with refined simplicity and a focus on local produce. Maison Ceronne now has an annex, La Voisine, with 4 new rooms and suites decorated in the same spirit.
