Located between Place Vendôme and the Tuileries Garden, Maison Barrière Vendôme is the Barrière Group’s most exclusive property. Housed in a Haussmann-style building at the corner of Rue du Mont-Thabor and Rue de Castiglione, this 5-star property features 26 rooms, suites, and apartments—each dedicated to a woman who left her mark on her era, from Marie Curie to Nina Simone, including Joséphine Baker and Simone de Beauvoir. The interior design, by Daniel Jibert, features the work of France’s finest artisans: Lalique chandeliers, hand-painted frescoes by the Ateliers de Ricou, sculptures by Clémentine de Chabaneix, Versailles-style parquet floors, and original exposed beams. On the ground floor, the Frida restaurant and bar pays homage to the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo through its vibrant decor—Murano chandeliers, cobalt-blue banquettes—and contemporary Parisian cuisine with Latin American accents, featuring desserts by Christophe Adam. Elegant, intimate, and quintessentially Parisian, this venue embodies the Barrière Group’s new vision of luxury on a human scale.
