Locals swear by this delightful spot, just 15 minutes from Giverny but tucked away from its ever-growing crowds of tourists. Nestled in a clearing and surrounded by tall trees, this estate is centered around three historic buildings dating back to 1865: Castel Napoléon III, the Villa Florentine, and the Anciennes Écuries, all of which house 20 charming rooms and suites, including three themed suites with jacuzzis (“Ocean,” “Indonesian,” and “Megève”)—each an invitation to travel. Just a stone’s throw away, the gourmet restaurant welcomes guests in a dining room that opens wide onto the park, beneath a massive glass canopy resembling a greenhouse, or on the terrace for lunch in the summer.
