Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the heart of France's chicest (and fanciest) resort, Les Airelles has always cultivated an exclusivity as discreet as it is singular. There are no trendy designer signatures here. This large, traditional chalet invites guests to enjoy a timeless experience in a setting inspired by the Austrian Alps of yesteryear, with its painted woodwork, coffered ceilings and antique parquet floors. The quality of service is outstanding, as are the 33 ultra-luxurious rooms and 15 suites, all with spacious marble bathrooms. There's also a boutique, a ski room, a kids' club and, last but not least, La Mer's signature spa, featuring a swimming pool, a hammam, an outdoor Jacuzzi and a wellness area offering exceptional treatments and massages. A revitalizing stopover, perfect after a day on the slopes, which you can reach on skis.
