In Maussane-les-Alpilles, the Mas de Chabran carries with it almost three centuries of history. Built in 1738 as an oil mill surrounded by three hundred olive trees, then transformed into the main residence of notary Pierre Chabran, who created a French garden based on the Renaissance model, the mas was restored in 2019 by Liliana and Alain Meylan, an architect and interior designer couple with a passion for historic buildings. Its eight rooms, with Egyptian cotton linens made by the Vatican robes artisan, combine exposed beams, antique floor tiles and walls covered in natural clay. The 16-meter heated swimming pool lined with ancient olive trees, the 3.5-hectare formal gardens, the spa with sauna and massage room, the Technogym-equipped gym: everything here exudes the comfort of a property designed to be rented in its entirety by the week, accommodating up to sixteen people. Three-night minimum stay.
