Gault&Millau's review 2025

A member of the ultra-chic Le K2 Collections, this 5-star property is none other than the former Le Meurice hotel in Val-d'Isère, extensively refurbished by Philippe and Suzanne Capezzone and their team. The space reflects the aesthetic choices that are the hallmark of the collection, a perfect blend of contemporary and Tibetan style. Right from the entrance, the tone is set with a heavy exotic wood door and inscriptions in Sanskrit. The same Zen spirit infuses the 21 luxurious rooms and suites, not to mention two sumptuous penthouses. A special mention must also go to the Le Bottleneck restaurant, which extends this taste for a change of scenery with, this time, the art of braising and desserts by Sébastien Vauxion. And last but not least, the Goji Spa, designed by Valmont, with sauna, steam room, fitness room and a large swim lane for laps after a day spent exploring the resort's 300 km of slopes.
