Gault&Millau's review 2025

Just 150 m from the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, this Teritoria community address combines a former 18th-century coaching inn, a Directoire mansion and a Second Empire maison de maître. A perfect lesson in architecture, but above all a warm and cosy refuge imagined by Éric Puech, who has preserved the charm of the place, with its tufa stone walls, sculpted woodwork and exposed beams, while offering the very best in contemporary comfort. The 31 bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The communal areas reflect this conviviality, with a spacious lounge warmed by a large fireplace and deep leather armchairs, as well as a delightfully rustic dining room, where you can enjoy an exceptional breakfast, with homemade jams and yoghurts from Fromagerie Maurice.
