We might as well say it straight out, we have a real passion for the Cotentin, this little-known peninsula that has managed to keep its traditions and sublime architecture intact. Just a stone's throw from the famous village of Sainte Mère Église, this 17thᵉ century seigneurial estate is one of its finest jewels. Restored under the auspices of the Pierres d'Histoire association, it now houses three accommodations (the Manoir, the Pigeonnier and the Pavillon) with rustic-chic charm, exposed beams, antique furniture from local flea markets and a beautiful fireplace for chilly evenings, all opening onto the magnificent French park. Last but not least, you can order meals and borrow bicycles to reach the D-Day landing beaches just a few kilometers away.
