Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the heart of the royal city, a stone's throw from the château and Clos Lucé, the last home of Leonardo da Vinci, this hotel welcomes a loyal clientele seduced by the charm of this 17th-century manor house. The 20 rooms have retained their generous volumes and furnishings, while incorporating the very best in contemporary comfort (air-conditioning, flat-screen TV...), with a special mention for the family suites installed in the former stables, subtly mansard-roofed. Here, you can savor the splendor of the park shaded by tall trees, and the freshness of the swimming pool nestled between rose bushes and cedars, before moving on to the vast living room, with its elegant parquet floors, wood panelling and mullioned windows, or the dining room, for dinner.
