Passionate about architecture and interior design, Juliette and Richard decided to breathe new life into this château nestled in the heart of a two-hectare park of meadows and woodlands. To do so, they transformed the former manor house into four guest rooms and two suites (including one family suite), all decorated in a contemporary style with light-colored hardwood floors and clean lines. Better yet, they also decided to capitalize on the garden’s rustic charm by building three splendid lodges (for four people) each featuring a kitchen, a living room, and two bedrooms—one of which is on a mezzanine—with a private Nordic hot tub. These self-contained retreats offer a full immersion in nature thanks to their huge floor-to-ceiling windows, while still allowing guests to enjoy all the services provided by Juliette and Richard: room-service breakfast, a heated pool and bikes available, wine-tasting sessions and cooking classes, not to mention the option to book spa treatments and massages.
