Perched on a hill at an elevation of 530 meters between the Vosges and Alsace, this beautiful house—converted into a hotel in 1974 by the Decker family—is now run by the third generation, who have successfully infused it with a truly modern feel without compromising the spirit of the place. All 45 rooms and suites have their own unique style, featuring natural materials, spacious bathrooms, and large picture windows offering views of the herb garden and the village below. Guests come here to experience the estate’s charm, savor the organic and locally sourced cuisine of Chef Jean-Paul Acker—recipient of the “Grand de Demain” distinction in 2024—at the gourmet restaurant Le Feuillage or the fine-dining restaurant Le Chêne; but above all to discover the sumptuous 2,500-square-meter “Nature-Spa” spread over three levels. Crowned with the international title of Best Relais & Châteaux Spa in 2016, it features a sauna, a hammam, treatment rooms, and four pools (including a natural pool fed by pure mountain water, an Epsom salt flotarium, an outdoor pool, and a family pool), allowing the body to relax and release all tension.
