Gault&Millau's review 2026

Located across from the Arc de Triomphe, L'Aventure breathes new life into a former private restaurant-club on Avenue Victor Hugo. This 24-room, 5-star boutique hotel combines the expertise of Gilbert and Thierry Costes—who founded the group in 1994—with the creativity of interior designer Martin Brudnizki and artistic director Vincent Darré. The result? A bold interior where rich mosaics, whimsical digital artworks, and playful lighting create a world that’s as chic as it is offbeat. L’Aventure also features an à la carte restaurant with distinct Japanese influences, as well as a club that has established itself as the new hotspot for night owls on the Right Bank.
