Prestige Hotel Close to the Arenas and the banks of the Rhône, this is one of our favorite spots in Arles. Owned by Guillaume Le Donche, the hotel is housed in a rigorously modernist 50s building by a duo of architects who were disciples of Auguste Perret, offering a welcome alternative to the city's ubiquitous regional spirit. The 13 guest rooms are a testament to the hotel's quest for excellence, with beautiful designer pieces (Marcel Breuer armchair, Poulsen suspension) and walls clad in Brazilian rosewood. Special mention must also go to the swimming pool, the rooftop overlooking the city's rooftops and the restaurant, led by talented Finnish-Algerian chef Maud Saddock.
