Gault&Millau's review2025
With its spectacular view of the Portes du Soleil, this address adds an attractive and original nugget to the Avoriaz offering. Far from the atmosphere of traditional chalets, architect Hervé Marullaz, in association with the Obermant studio, has created a chic, modern version of the Alpine chalet, as evidenced by the four facades with their tapered lines and voluptuous curves. In this contemporary spirit, the 42 rooms and suites combine dark woodwork, wide woolly drapes and Japanese wood panels. The living room boasts a steel fireplace and cathedral ceiling, while the two dining rooms are illuminated by unusual combinations of lilac and khaki, plum and mustard. This jewel-like setting also houses a spa designed by Anne Semonin, a local certified organic brand, with a view and state-of-the-art equipment, such as an infinity pool and a counter-current pool.
