Just a stone's throw from the Marais and the Bastille, this former dyehouse in the 11th arrondissement has been transformed into a truly charming 5-star hotel under the guidance of the London-based architecture firm Sagrada, which designed the 53 rooms and suites (including a detached house with three bedrooms and a private garden) with impeccable taste—glass roofs, Pierre Frey fabrics, and custom-made furniture and hardwood floors crafted by master cabinetmakers and metalworkers—all complemented by charming little terraces. The restaurant, equally spectacular, opens beneath a large retractable glass roof and features a massive bar, a living wall, and a beautiful patio: market-fresh French cuisine for lunch and dinner, Sunday brunch, and cocktails served until 11 p.m. The spa in the basement—open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a 24-hour fitness center—features an 8-meter indoor pool with a counter-current jet, a hammam, a sauna, and a treatment room.
