Gault&Millau's review 2025

Close to the springs of Monêtier and the slopes of Serre-Chevalier, this confidential hotel belonging to the Les Hôtels (Très) Particuliers group has given new life to the former school of this rural village, now famous for its baths. Today, it boasts 21 rooms designed in a contemporary spirit, with dark wood and rough concrete, designer lamps and fine fabrics for comfort and warmth. As soon as the sun rises, you'll find yourself on the huge terrace facing the mountains, and in winter, you'll head for the large loft with its deep sofas, fireplace and long table d'hôtes (16 people) where you can enjoy local cuisine, refreshed by a fine wine list.
