Just a stone’s throw from the Mairie de Saint-Ouen metro station, Le Charmant has breathed new life into a provincial mansion dating from 1885 that was saved from demolition at the last minute. Conceived more as a bed-and-breakfast than a standard hotel, this 4-star property with old-world charm captivates guests with its bucolic garden, living rooms with painted ceilings, antique hardwood floors, and period fireplaces. The light-filled rooms feature vintage bathtubs and plush bedding. Antique furniture, frescoes by Olivia de Bona, and locally crafted woodwork underscore the eco-conscious commitment of the founders, Anne Oury and Selim Mouhoubi.
