In the heart of New Athens, a double facade of brick and cut stone houses this hotel designed by architect Thomas Vidalenc and his wife, Julia, who let their imaginations run wild here. The proof is in the inspirations that give the place its elegance and fantasy, from the imaginary lands of Hergé to the architecture of Eastern Europe in the 1960s. The 37 rooms and suites follow this thread, with Slavic furniture and vintage pieces, not forgetting beautiful terrazzo in the bathrooms and, in some cases, small terraces overgrown with vegetation. The restaurant offers simple, seasonal brasserie cuisine, to be enjoyed in the dining room with its sumptuous marble floors or on the shaded patio. An atypical establishment full of charm, it also boasts a spa and swimming corridor in the basement.
