Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the heart of the Balagne region, high above Calvi, this prestigious hotel is rightly considered one of the most beautiful in Corsica. The credit goes to Jean-Pierre Pinelli and his family, who inaugurated the Villa Calvi in 1992, never ceasing to embellish the premises. A Relais & Châteaux member, the establishment now boasts 45 rooms and suites, plus 3 villas with private pools. All reflect the same refinement, combining designer furniture, natural materials and contemporary works of art. The sumptuous views of the citadel set the tone for this exceptional place. Everything here is designed to offer a unique stay: 5 swimming pools and a superb pool bar, a wellness area with hammam, fitness room, face and body treatment rooms, not forgetting La Table by La Villa led by chef Mylo Levin.
