Gault&Millau's review 2025

Just a stone's throw from the beach at La Baule-Escoublac, this Art Deco building was given a facelift a decade ago by Marie-Christine Mecoen, decorator and head of hotel renovation for the Millésime group. White walls, waxed parquet floors, rattan hanging baskets... The 9 rooms are extended by a small terrace and all bear names that celebrate the town: "L'Allée Cavalière" blends leather and khaki green to pay homage to the La Baule jumping circuit, "L'Iode", a delightful family suite, comes in a cameo of ocean blues... And the best is yet to come with the hotel's spectacular rooftop, a dream refuge for savoring the sunset.
