Gault&Millau's review 2025

Just a stone's throw from the Gorges du Verdon and Lac de Sainte-Croix, this 17th-century residence has been restored by Géraldine Manivet, a former design journalist who has preserved the spirit of the place (old floor tiles, gypsum staircase) while infusing it with style and modernity with its limewashed walls and waxed concrete bathrooms. She has created two bedrooms and a suite where you'll be delighted to put down your suitcases before discovering the garden shaded by an arbour, where you can enjoy an excellent breakfast (still-warm breads, homemade jams, organic fruit juices and local honey) or an aperitif with local charcuterie and homemade tapenades. Those who appreciate the place's deco spirit won't want to miss the second-hand store now installed on the first floor. The establishment also offers paddles for discovering Lac de Sainte-Croix and all Géraldine's secret addresses for making the most of the region's riches.
