Gault&Millau's review 2025

A privileged refuge for the cultural and artistic world, this iconic, recently restored hotel is the epitome of superlatives... A sumptuous Belle Époque façade, an immense cupola bathed in light, a mythical American bar and 206 rooms and suites of modern luxury and design, with their white marble and large terraces overlooking the princely palace. The hotel is also home to the panoramic Le Grill restaurant, Cédric Grolet's tea room and (above all) the Louis XV, led by Alain Ducasse. The flagship of the Société des bains de mer (SBM), it also pampers guests in its wellness area on the top floor, with panoramic views, hammam, sauna and fitness area. A must-see, unless you opt for the spectacular Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo spa, the largest in Europe, for cryotherapy at some -110°C.
