Prestige Hotel
Located across from the Lille Opera House and just a stone’s throw from the Grand’Place, the Carlton Hotel remains an iconic landmark in the city center. Built in the early 1900s by architect Armand Lemay on the ruins of the Café Jean, it owes its name to the British hotel company that turned it into a premier establishment. Its monumental dome houses a spectacular 80 m² suite, laid out as a duplex with a panoramic living room, a private sauna/spa, and breathtaking views of the Place du Théâtre. Its 59 rooms and suites exude a classic charm that has captivated the likes of Whitney Houston, Jacques Chirac, and Jean-Paul Belmondo over the decades.
