Gault&Millau's review 2025

Just a stone's throw from the Barrière L'Hermitage, the Royal offers both 5-star hotels the thalasso facilities for which the hotel is rightly renowned: 3,000 m2 entirely dedicated to well-being, with two swimming pools (outdoor and indoor), sauna, hammam, massage cabins and, above all, a choice of 5 treatment programs (Relax, Thalasso, Healthy...) combining sophrology, fitness classes and health expertise, promising a complete return to fitness. As for the rest, the Royal offers the elegance that is the hallmark of the Barrière brand. The 87 rooms and suites have been redesigned by decorator Chantal Peyrat in the spirit of chic cocooning, with their shades of beige and blue, 5-star bedding and vast bathrooms, all opening onto the city's rooftops or, even better, the 180° ocean. The ocean inspires the menu of the various restaurants, from the gourmet table to the healthy cuisine served at the Ponton, facing the waves.
