Gault&Millau's review 2025

Resting on the golden sands of the immense beach, with the Atlantic as a backdrop, this mythical palace has attracted generations of loyal guests since its creation, all seduced by the splendor of its imposing half-timbered façade and slate roofs. This luxury retreat cultivates the spirit of an ideal family home, with 200 rooms and suites redecorated by Chantal Peyrat, who drew much of her inspiration from the ocean. Vast rooms in striking colors, furniture from the 1920s and photographs depicting scenes from the early days of sea bathing... Everything here exudes the gentle lifestyle of Belle Époque resorts, not to mention the indoor pool, spa and splendid dining room.
